MEDITATION FOR SAD

Many people in the Northern hemisphere experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) during the winter months because it is less sunny. Here is a meditation that I use with clients that can help. Remember, your subconscious believes that experiences in your imagination are just as real as your waking reality. This is the reason that so many athletes drastically improve their ability with creative visualizations.

So, as you read this story, imagine that it is you on the sun-swept beach…

I would like to tell you a story… About a girl named Mira…
As our story begins… Mira has found herself in a predicament…
She had some health issues and these of course, are tied into other issues, because we know that everything is connected to everything else… We are all related…
And, because we are all related, Mira knew there were certain people, angels and guides that she could turn to for help… Through their assistance, she found help and hope…

So, Mira came to find herself to be on an ancient island of healing…
We don’t really know if this was an actual island or if she used her creative imagination… But then, that is not the important part…

This island was magnificent… The weather was sunny, comfortable, and balmy…
The air was fresh and clean… The ocean sprayed a gorgeous mist onto the island that created rainbows everywhere… There was no more relaxing place in the world…

As Mira came onto this island, she like exploring so she chose to walk in the sunshine a short way from the beach into the warm ocean waves, just as far as she was comfortable going… The ocean waves tossed her gently and lovingly back and forth…
Embedded in the floor of the ocean, a short distance from the beach, were some very large and powerful crystals that imparted a strong healing energy to the water…

Wading in the water, she was peaceful in this warm, calm sea of tranquility…
Soon, she felt a tingling on her skin… This was the supercharged energy of the crystals being absorbed by her skin through the water that was touching her body…

Mira took several moments to direct the healing energy to the part of her body that needed it the most… I am not sure if it was her back or chest area… Or perhaps her heart… Or, perhaps it was several areas of her body, I really don’t know…
And, it did not need to be only one place… Perhaps her entire being was crying out for health and healing…

Anyway, she decided to stay in the water for a time, feeling relaxed and letting the energy work on her in its subtle, benevolent way…
So, pretty soon, she began to see and feel the presence of several tame and loving dolphins swimming up to her… They were attracted by her calmness and the beauty inside her…

Dolphins are master diagnosticians and healers… They added their energy to the energy of the crystals… By this time, she could swim as well as the dolphins because the water was so supercharged with energy… Together with the dolphins, she played and played in the warm, sparkling, healing water… Touching each other, diving and coming up to breathe the beneficent air…

Mira was so enchanted and entranced by her newfound friends that she forgot the original purpose of her swim, which is healing… Yet all the while, her body is absorbing the healing energy from the crystals and the dolphins…

After a while, Mira felt ready to leave the water and go back to the beach… The sand felt so good under her feet… She was comforted by the knowledge that she can return as many times as she wishes…

So special was the water, that immediately, she was dry… Feeling content, joyful and better than she had ever felt before, she sat quietly for a time experiencing the warmth of the sun and the caress of the breezes…

Mira knew she would always have this beautiful sanctuary of healing in her mind and in her heart…

And now, so can you!

Infinite Blessings from your Infinite Angels.
