We have talked before about how your feelings are the communication link between your soul and body, and vice-versa. You have experiences on this planet – Mother Earth – in this 3rd dimension, which helps your soul to evolve. More than that, your experiences help the Universe to evolve.

Personally, I believe that this is the Unification Theory that scientists have been attempting to prove for hundreds of years. We are all connected on quantum levels. They have developed machines that show evidence of this on a small scale. I do not know if they will be able to gain evidence of this on the grand scale. Some things as the Bible teaches, you just have to take on faith.

Anyway, the point of today’s talk is that it is important to check in with your feelings often. Your feelings are not just talking in your head. They are in your body as well as your mind. Archangel Gabriel can help you with your inner-personal communication. Gabriel is the Angel that told Mother Mary that she was pregnant and so is the Archangel of Communication.

If you have a serious medical condition, of course you need to see your physician. In addition, take a moment to get quiet and tune in to that part of you that is giving you a message.

Louise Hay has several books that explain different emotional issues that may be affecting your body. For instance, too much weight may be your body’s way of shielding you from emotional pain; it’s called “armoring.”

Other examples are issues with your hips, knees, feet, or toes. This may mean you have fears of moving forward in your life. These are not hard and fast rules and the emotional correlation may not have anything to do with what you are experiencing. However, it is something to seriously consider as you are moving through these emotional times.

Always remember you are surrounded by your Infinite Angels who are ready, willing, and able to assist you through all of your life experiences. They love to help and are always thrilled when you call upon them.

Realize, in this season of giving, that this is your gift to them – to allow the Angels to help you. Just ask.

What is Hypnosis?
The word Hypnosis describes a state of mind that all human beings experience naturally several times a day, each and every day. The word Hypnosis comes from the name of the Greek god for sleep, Hypnos.
Hypnosis is dubbed "an altered state" of consciousness. It is really a natural state of consciousness that usually means that human brain wave frequencies are vibrating in the alpha level of approximately 7-14 hertz. We call this state of mind “hypnosis” when we access this state on purpose, yet all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.

Hypnotic States
Hypnosis is a state of focused and expanded awareness. You can be aware that you have more than one level of consciousness when you are in hypnotic trance. You can experience a high level of focus as you imagine, visualize or pretend you are experiencing a situation. Basketball players, golf pros, and other sports athletes commonly use this type of focused awareness when preparing for competition. Patients with cancer and other painful medical conditions use hypnotic trance to compliment their procedures and reduce pain or discomfort.

While in a hypnotic state, you may have a heightened awareness of sounds and movement around you without having the slightest inclination to do anything about it. You will be more focused upon your inner experiences.
Your inner experiences will expand greatly. You may discover a deep, multi-layered understanding of a feeling, situation, relationship, or event that you could not conceive of when in the ordinary waking state. Just having this profound understanding can help you to change unwanted behaviour and is the reason that one of my professional slogans is Expand Your Consciousness on Purpose.

Think of the times when you have taken a long drive in your car and arrived at your destination without consciously remembering what you were doing as a driver or passenger because the scenery was so enchanting. Think of when you have found particular enjoyment and lost yourself in a work of art or a particularly moving piece of music. These are instances of trance state activity or the hypnotic state. This state is characterized with relaxation of the body and waking consciousness. When measured with an Electroencephalogram or EEG, the brain wave frequency is in the 7-14 Hertz (Hz) range. You can train yourself to access the alpha brain frequency range just by closing your eyes and taking a deep breath.

Other states of consciousness are beta state with a brain wave frequency in the 14-30 Hz range, which is the range of normal waking consciousness; the delta state with a brain wave frequency range of up to 3 Hz, which is the deep dreaming and restorative sleep state; and the theta state, which has a brain wave frequency range of 4-7 Hz and occurs in the drowsy/sleep state. There is also the gamma state, which is a highly agitated state of psychotic anxiety and shows a brain wave frequency of 30-100 Hz.

In the delta state, you experience a deep, regenerative sleep. Your body recovers the energy you expended during the day and repairs any damage quickly and efficiently. Sometimes, your body may become rigid in this state because you are so deeply relaxed. The exception to this is the somnambulist state in which a person may have scattered delta state brain activity and be up moving around. Scientists believe that a person’s emotions may have something to with the somnambulistic, sleep-walking state of consciousness.

The theta state occurs when we are asleep and dreaming. At this level, you exhibit rapid eye movement (REM) and deep dreaming occurs. In hypnotic trance, this is the state of insightful subconscious. Some researchers believe this to be the state in which lasting and profound behavioural change begins and other studies show that a light alpha state may accomplish successful change just as lastingly and effectively.

The alpha state is the altered state that most people are referring to when they speak of hypnosis. Alpha is the state most often and easily accessed by trance. The body relaxes, yet the mind is alert. This is the state that you are in when you are enchanted by beautiful music, a wonderful work of art or something that captures your attention so that you become unconcerned about your surrounding environment. This is also the state you are in when you move from the waking state into sleep or from sleeping to waking up, so you are in the alpha state at least twice each day.

Nature is God’s healing channel. Everything that we need to heal us is already found in Nature. It is arrogant and presumptuous to think otherwise, but humans are good at that.

We are made of nature. All of the atoms, molecules, cells, organs, systems, and structures in our physical bodies are made up of stuff of Mother Earth – that is why she is called “Mother.”

Our bones, for example, are made from calcium. Calcium is found in rocks, plants, and other animals. When we eat foods (again, from Mother Earth), our bones are nourished by the calcium from the foods. Ninety percent of the world’s medical drugs that work the best are found deep in the Rainforests of the planet.

Think about how close we are to Mother Earth. Her hair is her grasses, shrubs, bushes, and trees. Her skin is the land of the continents; North and South America, Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, Russia, and the North and South Poles. The atmosphere is the breath of our Mother and her blood is the oceans, rivers, and streams. She has a warm heart in the center of her core. She is so intelligent that, if there were no humans to damage and desecrate her body, she would be in perfect harmony and balance in less than ten years.

But, every mother loves her children. Nature continues to support, comfort, heal, and guide us. Ask your Infinite Angels to help you to connect with Nature. Your Infinite Angels and Nature are tools from God that help heal your emotional situations, help you to relax your mental states, and help you to expand your spiritual soul growth. Be conscious of your actions and walk softly upon your Mother.

In the Bible it says, ‘Jesus called them to him, and said, “Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”’ If we look at children and the qualities of a child, we can perhaps get a glimpse of what this teaching means in a practical sense.

A child of two or three years old is not yet infected with heavy cares and woes of the world. Toddlers can find joy and play even in the worst conditions of famine and war. Give a baby a bouncing ball and watch his or her face light up.

This is Wonderment. It is the ability to let go of everything else in the joy of the moment.

Toddlers do not hold grudges because they have not learned how to do that. They forgive easily and are anxious to move onto the next game. They have a sense of adventure and excitement. They are not afraid of change because everything can be new and wonderful.

Small children are grateful. They may not write you a formal Thank You note, but you can see gratitude in the gleam of their eyes. The inner joy that children express with every task is ineffable. A child can find joy in eating a bowl of cereal.

This is what I think the kingdom of God is; the wonderment and joy of a childlike spirit. Angels have this joy. In your darkest hour, your Infinite Angels want you to know their joy. Call them into your heart and ask them to help you know the wonderment that is the light of your heart.

Ask your Infinite Angels to help the divine light in your heart grow and expand until it is outside your body. Then, allow that light to spill into the room, your car, your office, your neighborhood, and your community. Let the light of joy spill into your state, your country, and all over the planet.

The more you practice living in Wonderment, the more you will notice amazing and delightful people, places, and things entering your life. Enjoy!

I have a very dear friend, Denise, who is a Master Astrologer and counselor. She has studied with the medical intuitive, Carolyn Myss, PhD. Recently, our conversations have centered around the fact that so many people have low self-esteem.

I realize that many parents, although they want the best for their children, often do or say things that cause the child to begin to lack self-confidence. I think there is more to it than pointing the finger at Mom and Dad.

When we look around us today, we see not only economic crisis, but war, constant violence, disease, lack of food and shelter. Perhaps we have experienced these situations in the past or are experiencing them now. Perhaps we feel like we experience these conditions because we are empathetic to the people we see in the media that are going through these trials.

Most people who feel deeply for the pain others experience often want to fix conditions that they believe are causing the pain. This can be appropriate, such as working to find a cure for a disease, helping out at a food bank, or helping a homeless person to find a place to live.

Conditions such as war, widespread poverty or famine seem out of the control of the individual and may cause us to question our self-worth, as in, “Why can’t I fix this? Why do these horrible things happen?”

I do not have the answers to those questions, but I do know that getting quiet each day, even for just a few minutes, going within and getting in touch with your divine inner spirit helps tremendously. The techniques for meditation and hypnotic induction are so similar as to be virtually identical. The only difference is that, with meditation, you are directing your thoughts inward while, with hypnosis, another person is assisting you to inward directed focus.

To find your inner focus on your own, find a quiet place where you can practice until you are good at tuning out distractions. Later, you can learn to meditate in Times Square, but for now, pick a quiet place where you will be undisturbed for 20-30 minutes. That amount of time is necessary because, while you may need only a couple of minutes to revel in your divine inner light, it may take you the rest of that time to calm down.

Begin by noticing your body, how it is positioned in the chair or on the floor, the couch, or the bed. Feel the clothes on your skin and the temperature of the room or environment. Notice your breath as it enters your nostrils, flows through your throat and into your lungs. Follow the oxygen as it enters your bloodstream and flows throughout your body carrying life-giving energy to all your cells.

Then, let your breath take you to your heart. Give your heart a loving “Thank you” for all it does for you in such a loving, wonderful way. Notice the warm, bright light in the center of your heart and its calm, steady glow. Use your breath to gently fan that glow and notice that it gets bigger.

Keep letting that beautiful, warm light get bigger until it fills your entire body and the area surrounding your body as if you are in a beautiful, golden egg of warm, healing mist. Allow this softness, this gentleness to caress you for a few moments.

When the mist begins to fade, bring your attention back into the room. Back out of your meditation by reversing the process of beginning to focus your attention outward. Follow your breath back out of your center, noticing the clothes on your skin, and then, the room around you. Begin to notice the surrounding sounds and noises.

You will find, with regular practice, that centering yourself and checking-in with your inner spirit will boost your self-confidence and self-esteem. You may also find it easier to communicate with your Infinite Angels on a daily basis.
